Colorado Counseling Association Continuing Education Program (CCACE) Licensed Professional Counselor Supervision Training

A favorite project of mine from 2020 where I had the honor of producing an exceptional piece of training with incredible trainers! Not to get too wordy here, but this was a key piece of legislation passed by the state that put LPC’s at risk of not being able to provide supervision to LPCCs, the Colorado Counseling Association (of which I was, at the time, on the governing council for) decided to put together a training that would allow LPC’s to not only understand the changes to the law but also provide them with the qualifications laid out within the law to provide clinical supervision. This was an amazing training with seven different trainers: Francisca Mix, Christina Murphy, Dr. Thomas Doroff, Khara Crosswaite-Brindle, Dr. Samuel Kohlenberg, Dr. Ryan M. Burkhart, and Carla D'Agostino.

Wellspring Community with Kevin

Not only do I think this video turned out beautifully, but working with Kevin was one of my favorite fillings! He was so fun and did such an excellent job as we were trying to capture his story at Wellspring to highlight the growth that had been seen in him since joining the program. I think this video also did an incredible job of showing the joy that was present for all of the students at Wellspring and giving a look at the program for the parents of adults with disabilities.

Container and Safeplace

in my role at Mayfield counseling centers, I created a program called Mayfield collective which was a series of videos produced to teach skills to clients. often times these videos were skills, concepts, or lessons that I found myself frequently offering to my clients, and I found that it was wonderful to be able to film a 20-minute lesson and offer it as a video for homework to a client, rather than using up nearly half of a counseling session with them. I love the container and safeplace activity, personally, and loved being able to provide it as a tool to my clients! if you find that you are offering the same concept to a client nearly every time you meet with a new client, this is a great opportunity for you to film yourself offering the content and then giving them a link to a trusted trainer (yourself) giving them the information to watch themselves and perhaps even share with others.
